Restorative/Beginner
Slower-paced, gentle, provides a good introduction to basic yoga poses. Ideal for injury prevention or therapy from after-the-fact causes. Perfect after an outdoor sporting day.

*Focus: flexibility. Props: mat & block.

Vinyasa
Vinyasa is a general term that is used to describe many different types of classes. Vinyasa, which means breath-synchronized movement, tends to be a more vigorous style. It’s based on the series of poses called Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutations) in which movement is matched to the breath. A Vinyasa class will start with a number of Surya Namaskaras to warm up the body for more intense asanas (poses) & stretching throughout class.

*Focus: strength, balance, agility & flexibility. Props: mat & block.

Power Yoga
Based on the flowing style of Ashtanga, but not necessarily kept strictly to it’s series of poses. This practice is physically demanding, due to the pace of class, and asanas taught. Students may develop quick achievement if practice is consistent and often. They are often pleasantly surprised by their accomplishment of difficult asanas. Power yoga is strenuous, but it is a quick strength builder, and offers an amazing sense of empowerment and gratification.

*Focus: strength, balance, & agility. Props: mat & block.

Pilates Mat
A series of flexion, extension, lateral flexion, & rotation exercises performed on a mat. The student develops strength, flexibility, coordination, and mental awareness. Pilates is wonderful for students that have already been injured &/or who have seen a physical therapist. It builds strength quickly, without the large spinal extensions & quicker pace of a yoga class. Ideal for beginning pilates students.

*Focus: strength, balance, agility, flexibility & length. Prop: mat.

Pilates Ball
Pilates exercises preformed on a physio-ball (the big bouncy ones, not medicine balls). This adds the element of balance, and thus it is more challenging than a mat class. Tremendous strength of core, arms, & legs are developed. Some previous pilates or ball classes are helpful. *Focus: strength, agility, balance. Prop: mat & ball. Stretch Therapy Athletic, dance, & yoga stretches help students increase flexibility and decrease injury. Compliments any sport training as well as the aging process. Beneficial for anyone, at any level!

*Focus: flexibility, balance & length. Prop: mat.

Dirty Dancing
Strip-tease dance. Bachelorette party packages available, call/email for pricing.

*Focus: balance & flexibility. Props: sweater with buttons or zippers
